Product features

The LD-4P rail drilling machines meet the very high requirements in rail construction. They are suitable for drilling rail contacts as well as for axle counter connections. The machine is driven by a Honda 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 47.9 cm3.

Twist drills with a diameter of 7 mm to 27.5 mm can be used. The maximum thikness is 45 mm.

Whilst broach cutters can be used for hole diameters 13 to 38 mm on rails up to 50 mm thickness.

The drills are provided with a coolant system consisting of a reservoir and pump for use with suitable cooling lubricants. The reservoir is connected to the drilling devices via a quick-release coupling.
