Hydraulic pumps

Hydraulic pumps for various applications

Hydraulic pumps generate the pressure required to operate hydraulic tools. They are used, for example, in pressing, cutting and punching operations. The choice of pump depends on the tool being used, the required operating pressure and the conditions at the site of operation.

At Otto Schoch AG, you will find hydraulic pumps to meet a range of requirements. Depending on the application, there is a choice of different drive types and designs.

What types of hydraulic pumps are available?

Hydraulic pumps differ, amongst other things, in terms of their drive type and operation. When making a selection, the power supply, mobility and the requirements of the connected tool are the key factors to consider.

Battery-powered hydraulic pumps:

Battery-powered hydraulic pumps are suitable for mobile applications and work sites without a direct mains power supply. They offer flexible use and, depending on the model, are designed for different hydraulic tools. Discover our hydraulic battery-powered pumps if you need a mobile solution.

Hydraulic foot pumps:

Foot pumps are operated via a foot pedal and are suitable for applications where manual operation is required. Whether such a pump is suitable depends on the required pressure and compatibility with the tool being used.

Electro-hydraulic pumps:

These pumps use an electric motor to build up hydraulic pressure. They are particularly suitable where a suitable power supply is available and the requirements of the workflow match those of the pump.

FAQs

What are hydraulic pumps used for?

Hydraulic pumps generate the pressure required for hydraulic tools. They are used, for example, in pressing, cutting and punching operations. The choice of pump depends on the specific tool and application.

What types of hydraulic pumps are there?

Depending on the design, these include hydraulic battery-powered pumps, foot pumps and electrically driven pumps. They differ in terms of power supply, operation and possible applications.

How do I find the right hydraulic pump?

The key factors are the required operating pressure, compatibility with the connected tool, the drive type and the conditions at the site of use. Compare the pump’s technical specifications with the tool’s requirements.

What is the difference between battery-powered and electric hydraulic pumps?

Battery-powered pumps are operated by a rechargeable battery and are particularly suitable for mobile use without a direct mains connection. Electric hydraulic pumps require a suitable mains power supply and may be suitable for corresponding stationary or recurring work processes.
