Stud terminals
HSKG high-current stud terminals from CONTA-CLIP for safe power transmission
The stud terminals in the HSKG series from CONTA-CLIP guarantee secure connections for all applications where energy is transmitted. The programme includes five different terminal sizes for rated cross-sections from 35 to 300 mm².
The HSKG terminal blocks can be arranged in any order on TS 35 standard support rails in accordance with EN 60715 and are suitable for rated currents of 125 to 520 A with a rated voltage of up to 1000 V. Depending on the conductor cross-section, the terminals are fitted with M6, M8, M10, M12 and M16 threaded bolts.
The conductors are connected to the threaded stud with crimped cable lugs and securely connected to the busbar by tightening the hexagon nut. Two cable lugs can be connected per threaded stud. The use of locking/tensioning discs and combination nuts ensures high contact force, vibration resistance and freedom from maintenance; it is not necessary to retighten the nuts.
A low voltage drop and self-extinguishing material of fire protection class V-0 (UL 94) guarantee maximum safety. Cross-connection rails are available in 2- and 3-pole versions for potential distribution.
CONTA-CLIP also offers additional accessories that simplify installation and increase safety: the combination of the terminals with the hinged ADH covers ensures a high level of contact protection. The cover is easy to fit and locks securely into the side walls of the stud terminals when closed. Type ES 35/K/ST end supports, which make contact with the mounting rail on both sides via a steel structure, provide a firm hold for the terminal block assembly.
