Automatic grinding cutter RDS-20PN

The RDS-20PN is a newly designed, robust and powerful cut-off machine for precise cutting of railway rails and catenary poles. The cut-off machine can also be used with an automatic mounting arm, which is fixed to the rail or pole and enables a complete cut without operator guidance. This reduces the physical strain caused by dust, vibrations and flying sparks for the user to almost zero and greatly minimises noise. When the cut-off machine is used as an automatically guided tool, it has clear advantages over conventional tools on the market:

• The mounting arm consists of two opposing smooth-running joints, which therefore reduce the weight and physical strain on the user.
• In the version with the automatic fixing arm, automatic speed regulation ensures optimum utilisation of the cutting disc and maximum cuts with one cutting disc.
• Automatic belt tensioning system.
• Cutting discs with a diameter of 350 and 400 mm can be used.
• Absolutely vertical cuts for insulating joints.
