Battery-powered timber sleeper drilling machine SD-36B (rain proof IP44M)

The development of the battery-powered sleeper drill SD-36B has further optimised the power-to-weight ratio. The machine is characterised by low acoustic noise, low vibration levels and, above all, no harmful gas emissions. This makes the machine ideal for working in confined areas (tunnels, underground facilities, etc.) and for night work.

The clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation makes it easier to release the drill bit if it jams during drilling.

The electronic power control prevents overloading, optimises consumption and saves battery power for a longer service life. Its high performance makes it suitable for use in heavy-duty applications such as drilling tropical woods.

Setting the drilling depth on the scale prevents damage to the drill bit when drilling through the sleepers. The movable protective tube slides over the fixed protective tube during the drilling process. It is possible to drill holes up to 20 mm in diameter using the supplied guide tip. Larger drilling diameters can be drilled with the TPM220-26 guide tip, which is available as an accessory.

The drilling machine can be used in both ‘portable’ mode and with the CS-EU support trolley.
