Protective profile MVLC-38-A-241

The MVLC (Medium Voltage Line Cover) protective profile is an insulation cover that fits on carrier cables and offers protection against power failures. Through the installation of the MVLC, it is possible to avoid power failures due to short-term flashovers caused by birds, animals and trees. It enables the retrospective insulation of the conductor to ground, or it can be used as a protective profile during construction work and renovations. By additionally using the OLIC protective profile, the MVLC can also be used for the simple insulation of cable hangers. The MVLC is manufactured from creepage-resistant cross-linked polymer with high dielectric strength. Fitting is simple and does not require a shrink burner or any other tools. The MVLC is therefore perfectly suited for retrofit applications.
